Driver CPC training was introduced in 2008 for bus and coach drivers and in 2009 for lorry drivers. It consists of an initial qualification followed by periodic training every five years. The training is designed to improve driver skills, promote safety awareness, and enhance fuel efficiency while reducing the environmental impact of driving.
