Do you know those small images or animations that occasionally take over the Google homepage? They?re known as a doodle. Google Doodles are a tool on Google?s homepage that is frequently used to highlight global issues, historic events, and celebrations. If you are a frequent internet user, you may have noticed that Google replaces its logo on its homepage with a Doodle to represent special events such as public holidays, famous people?s birthdays, events, and so on in specific countries. But did you know that each year, a child creates one of the Google Doodles? Yes, you read that right. Every year, Google selects a Doodle designed by a K-12 student and displays it on its local homepage through a competition called ?Doodle for Google.?
