The Indian commercial and legal scene have seen a significant transformation in the last three years, as part of an economy that is constantly expanding and aims to move up the global scale of ease of doing business. The Commercial Courts, Commercial Division and Commercial Appellate Division of High Courts Act, 2015 and the Arbitration and Conciliation (Amendment) Act, 2015, as well as subsequent attempts to amend these laws in 2018 show that the pace of legal reform in India has accelerated over the last three years.
