The price of bail is set on a case-by-case basis. However, there are certain guidelines that the judge needs to follow in order to determine the bail. There is a collateral set up in case the client does not show up to court in order for the bail agency to not be liable for the full bail amount. The collateral could be any assets that the client owns such as vehicles, homes, etc.
