Indirect extrusion is best applied on softer materials. These machines made by an extruder manufacturer are also aptly used for producing hollow or tubular types and cylinders of seamless pipes. This process has less friction, which tends to reduce energy consumption and hence less wear on the machinery; thus, it is economical for specific applications in industry.
