Gyoza is a small Japanese dumpling loaded with elements such as minced pork and vegetables. They can be consumed in several ways comprising simmered and boiled, but are commonly fried and eaten with a dipping sauce. While gyoza has been consumed in Japan as far back as the Edo period, it evolved famous following World War II, when Japanese soldiers returned home from Manchuria and brought back their craving for crispy Chinese dumplings and tons of delicious recipes.
