Manju Gupta01 Sep, 2022News

A Data Historian is a type of time-series database created to collect and store process data from a SCADA or automation system effectively. Using the recorded data, reports may be created, process data patterns can be displayed on charts, and data analysis can be performed. The name of the tag and other properties are set for each data point for each object being monitored. A timestamp, a value, and a data quality indication are added to the data records for these points by historians. Records are stored in a series of speedily retrievable secure binary files.
