Brazilian star defender Dani Alves has been arrested by Spanish police on the allegations of sexual assault. The 39-year-old footballer was arrested on Friday after a woman, who accused him of sexual harassment at a nightclub, filed a complaint to the police. The local newspaper La Vanguardia reported that former Barcelona left-back was taken into the custody by police on Friday, however, Alves denied any misconduct. As per the reports by Associate Press, police stated that the alleged act took place on December 31, 2022 in a nightclub in Barcelona.
