CWG 2022: Ghana boxer Shakul Samed suspended with immediate effect after failing drug test

In the latest news coming from the ongoing 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games, Ghana boxer Shakul Samed has been suspended from the tournament. Samed is said to have failed the drug test as he tested positive for a banned substance on Day 1 of the games. The Ghanaian boxer has been ruled out of the tournament with immediate effect. Although he will have a chance to provide further information on the same before any charge is issued on the same.
