Contract management is a complicated process with numerous moving parts. A contract is written, then approved by the sending party, and finally negotiated or approved by the receiving party. Each stage or step in the contract process is referred to as a workflow stage. Workflow stages are conditions that contain tasks that must be completed in order for all parties to sign a contract. Workflow stages can be handled by either the sending or receiving party, or by all parties.
