Comparing the Classroom Experience to Online Traffic School

The standard of today's schools, both traditional and virtual, is the result of the collaborative efforts of many different stakeholders. The California Department of Motor Vehicles must approve traditional classroom schools before they can operate, but online schools can exist because of a single sentence in the California Vehicle Code that states courts may "at their discretion" offer an alternative to traditional classroom traffic school.
