Color jet printing, commonly known as CJP or ZPrinting came into popularity in the 1990s when it was also called binder jetting. This highly advanced 3D printing technology was devised by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Being an additive manufacturing process, products are obtained by amalgamating layers of powdered material using a binding component.
