Cloud ERP and on-premise ERP systems have their own share of benefits. However, an increasing number of organizations are now inclined towards cloud ERP application development due to its apparent benefits over on-premise systems. An international survey conducted by HubSpot in 2018 revealed that 64 percent of companies were using SaaS applications while 21 percent used cloud ERP. Surprisingly, only 15 percent of the respondents were using on-premise ERP systems. Since then, there has been a multifold increase in the popularity of cloud ERP that clearly indicates its importance in modern-day business applications. Here, we shed light on the significance of cloud ERP application development for business process management. Furthermore, we’ll explore different ways that cloud ERP software solutions helps enterprises to enhance their business process efficiency.
