Did you know that the first watch Citizen ever made was the Citizen Watch? In 1893, an entrepreneur and watchmaker named Kintaro Hattori started making watches in Osaka. The company continued to grow over the years and became very well-known for its diver?s wristwatches. United States president James H. Cox visited the company and presented them with an award for their work on diver?s watches.
