India has 48 cities with more than a million people, 405 cities with between 100,000 and 1 million people, and 2500 cities with between 10,000 and 100,000 people. The most populated cities in India are Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Chennai, Ahemdabad, Hyderabad and Pune. The cleanest city in India is Indore and the most developed city is Mumbai.
