The post from the star West Indies batter is expected to be a reply to those who were speculating his retirement from cricket. However, the ones who were speculating that Gayle's retirement is round the corner cannot be blamed as the player had received a guard of honour from his teammates as well as the Australian players in West Indies' final game between the sides at the T20 World Cup 2021. The ambience till the final ball of the game also hinted that it was Gayle's last game.
