CHINESE VISA FOR VISITING TIBET

Tibet is a part of China. Therefore, the primary document you will need for travelling to Tibet is the Chinese Visa. There are different scenarios in getting the Visa, base on your travel plans to Tibet. We will discuss all in the following. There are two ways to apply for a Chinese Visa. A) One is to get the Visa before applying for the Tibet travel permit. B) The other is to apply for it after the Tibet permit. If you are coming to Tibet from Mainland China, please follow A. If you are travelling to Tibet from Nepal, you will have to follow B.
