Child found dead as Cyclone Shaheen hits Oman

DUBAI: A child has been found dead in Oman on Sunday as the Sultanate battles with the tropical storm Shaheen, state news agency reported. "Missing child found dead in an inundated area in the Wilayat of Al-Amerat, Muscat," the agency said. Relief centres in Al-Amerat have receive several families affected by the cyclone Shaheen, the agency added. Oman delayed and rescheduled flights to and from the airport of its capital city Muscat to Sunday evening or until further notice due to the storm, the sultanate's airports authority said on its official Twitter account.
