Charles Leclerc edges out Max Verstappen to take pole position for French Grand Prix 2022

Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen were involved in a tough tussle in the 2022 French Grand Prix qualifying event. It was Leclerc, who with the help of a tow from team-mate Carlos Sainz, will start atpole position in the French Grand Prix. It will also be the first occasion for Ferrari to mark its presence in this position at Circuit Paul Ricard after 1990. The final lap witnessed Leclerc finishing the race in 1m 30.872s, keeping Red Bull?s Verstappen behind by 0.304s.
