The chain link fence wire runs vertically and is bent into a zigzag pattern. In a chain link fence, each "zig" hooks with the wire immediately on one side, and each "zag" with the wire immediately on the other. Chain link fence is relatively low cost as well as it is easy to install. Due to the open weave, chain link fence offers small privacy.
