A research trial looked at the short-term effects of 300 mg of CBD on healthy people's sleep habits. Compared to people taking anxiolytic and antidepressant medicines, CBD did not affect the sleep cycle. However, CBD-administered subjects also reported falling asleep more quickly than normal.
