Carlos E. Polit, 71 of Moline passed away December 19, 2010 at Trinity Rock Island. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 22nd at St. Mary�s Catholic Church, 412-10th Street, Moline with visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at a later date at National Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to his church, St. Mary�s. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. is assisting the family. Carlos was born on April 30, 1939 in Quito, Ecuador, South America the son of Dr. Carlos and Blanca Cortes Polit.
