According to Canadian statistics, the participation of migrants in the labor market is approaching the level of 2019. Canada added 94,000 jobs in July, down 1.3 percent from February 2020. Profits were concentrated in the private sector, especially in the service sector. Unemployment fell to 7.5 percent, the same level as in March. Employment has increased in Ontario, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. As travel restrictions ease, Canadian Statistics will monitor whether the number of new immigrants entering the Canadian labor market will continue to grow.
