Canada recorded the strongest month for permanent residents since the pandemic in June 2021, according to Immigration Minister Marco Mendicino's office. The prime minister's office estimates that Canada welcomed more than 35,000 new residents in May. As per the reports, the Department of Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship of Canada (IRCC) said its preliminary figures show that Canada welcomed 35,700 migrants last month. This number is higher than the total of Canada in recent months. Regardless, the coming months should see our immigration levels higher. There is also a strong belief that the average monthly migration will hit highs at the end of the year due to a mix of more expatriates and in-Canadian applicants having completed their land.
