Can you change your name on a Spirit Airline ticket?

Spirit Airlines does not allow ticket transfers to another person. Once a ticket is purchased and issued, the name cannot be changed, so you cannot transfer your ticket to someone else. If you need to change the name on the ticket, you would have to cancel and rebook under the new passenger's name.
