Can a Dog Tear Their ACL?

You never want your dog to be injured or in pain. After all, they are a furry member of the family! If your dog goes lame in one of their hind legs, you may be wondering if they have torn their ACL. Is this even possible for dogs? Well, yes and no. Technically, they cannot tear their ACL because they do not have one. They can tear the equivalent of an ACL in dogs, though. This is known as the CCL.
