Buddhism was founded by Siddhartha Gautama more than 2,500 years ago (?the Buddha?). Buddhism is a prominent religion in the world, having around 470 million followers. East and Southeast Asia have historically been the most popular regions for its use, although its influence has also expanded to the West. Many beliefs and philosophies of Buddhism are like Hinduism. Buddhism does not have a single god. Instead, it?s a Buddhist belief that nothing is fixed or everlasting and may change anything at any time. In Buddhism the practicing and growth of morality, meditation, and wisdom is the road to enlightenment.
