Boeing to employ 10,000 new workers

Boeing said on Friday that it wants to hire 10,000 people by 2023 as the company recovers from the pandemic and makes more planes. But some jobs in support will be cut. In 2022, the company in Arlington, Virginia, hired about 14,000 more people than it did in 2021. By the end of 2022, 156,000 people were working for the company. In 2021, there were about 142,000. In the United States, about 136,000 people work for Boeing.
