IVF is a special way to help people have a baby. It includes a method called blastocyst culture and transfer. In this method, embryos grow in a controlled conditions before being put into the uterus. First, eggs are collected and fertilised with sperm to make embryos. Then, these embryos are placed in the uterus. A blastocyst is a special kind of embryo that grows in a lab for 5-6 days before going into the uterus.
