The design of cutting wheels allows making straight, in-line cuts. So, use it at a 90-degree angle perpendicular to the work surface to avoid binding, especially while using a thinner wheel. Position your body ergonomically to see the wheel entering the cut line. Always enter the cut from the point of least resistance while blade sharpening. Enter from the sharp corner for the lowest surface contact to start when cutting corners or square profiles.
