The former CEO of Microsoft and co-founder, Bill Gates has stepped down from the board of Microsoft. He served as the chairman of the board of the company until the year 2014, and then he assumed the role of technical advisor to the company. Bill Gates is willing to spend more time on his philanthropic activities, which include development, global health, education, and addressing the dangers of climate change all over the world. Bill Gates has expressed his desire that he further wants to spend more time working at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. However, he will continue serving as a technical advisor to Satya Nadella, who is the present CEO of Microsoft.
