In 1967, Seiko patented the ?magic lever?, a type of bi-directional winding mechanism that is used in almost all modern Seiko automatic watches. In 1978, the brand introduced its first divers watch, the original Seiko Diver?s Watch. The latest version of this watch is known simply as the Seiko Prospex Series, which includes a number of dressy and sporty timepieces. The currently limited edition collection features automatic diving watches that have been carefully crafted to resemble those produced during their Golden Age Of Diving, a period that spanned from 1968 to 1980. The new limited edition collection takes its design cues from the style of one of Seiko?s most famous watches, the original Seiko Automatic Diver?s 200M Jubilee.
