Neck liposuction is generally performed under local anesthesia and sedation. Dr. Jung makes small, inconspicuous incisions in the treatment area through which he inserts a thin tube, known as cannula, to suction out the fat. He uses tiny sutures to close up the incisions and then applies bandages and a compression garment.
