Bacillus clausii is a is a rod shaped, gram-positive microbe,found mostly in the alkaline environment like soil and marine habitat. It helps in restoring intestinal flora and stimulate immune activity. It is alkaliphilic and produces a class of subtilisins known as high-alkaline proteases (a protein digesting enzyme).
