B1 level French

The third level of the Common European Framework of References (CEFR) for French is B1 level. The 'Threshold' or 'Breakthrough' stage is also referred to as Level B1. After passing the B1 French exam, you advance to the intermediate level of the language, becoming an "independent speaker."
