AWS vs. Azure vs. Google Cloud � Cloud Platform Comparison in 2022

Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform are in a tough three-way contest for supremacy in public cloud computing (GCP). These top three cloud computing providers dominate the infrastructure as a service (IaaS) marketplaces and platform as a service (PaaS) marketplaces. Particularly prevalent is AWS. According to a report from Synergy Research Group, Amazon maintained its 33% share of the global [cloud] market in 2020. ?Amazon growth continued to match overall market growth closely,? the report reads. Microsoft, which came in second and once again outperformed the market, saw its market share rise to 18% over the last four quarters, or about three percentage points. In the meantime, Google Cloud, with its dominance in artificial intelligence, is positioned for aggressive development as the AI industry increases and is known for providing discounts. Microsoft is particularly strong in SaaS.
