Cloud computing has been on a rise for the past 16 years since Amazon launched AWS (Amazon Web Services) was launched in 2006. The idea developed at the executive retreat at Jeff Bezos?s house in 2003. The Amazon leadership identified that its infrastructures services gave them a massive advantage over their competition. At that point, without even fully articulating it, they began to formulate the idea of what AWS could be. AWS dominated the market for several years before the competitors like Microsoft, Google and IBM responded with cloud computing services for enterprise app development.
