Awareness Campaign on �Suicide Prevention� for Mental Health

Suicide being an epidemic since the past decade has led to an alarming rise in depression all over the country. To create awareness on such mental health issues, School of Arts and Humanities, REVA University conducted a mental health awareness campaign on ?Suicide Prevention? on 28th January 2019. The campaign conducted in the REVA University campus involved casually interacting with students in order to enable them to talk about their concerns openly. It was a silent campaign that displayed various posters on Suicide and Depression and different helplines that will enable students to seek help. There was a kiosk that maintained anonymity so that people could confidentially pen down their deepest concerns about Suicide and Mental Health.
