ATP cancels 2022 events in China due to COVID-19 restrictions

The Association of Tennis Professionals on Thursday announced the cancellation of the Shanghai Masters and three other men?s tournaments that were to be held in China in 2022 due to stringent COVID restrictions in place in the country. Notably, COVID-19 cases have been on the rise in China and hence the country has decided to stick to a stringent zero-Covid policy.
