Asset-backed tokens, or security tokens enhance the prospective initial raise for fund operators and other parties that issue securities. Cryptographic analogues of conventional assets greatly amplify liquidity. Tokens which are backed by real-world, physical assets can be compared to gold-backed paper currencies.
