The Arya Samajis do not believe in idol worship, which is why there is a difference between their weddings and Hindu marriages, even though Arya Samaj weddings are based on the Hindu way of saying "I do." Simple Vedic rituals are used in Arya Samaj marriages. Their ceremonies center around a fire, where the songs performed are taught to the wedding couple, just like traditional Hindu weddings.
