The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) provides The SRD grant or the social relief of distress grant, to South African citizens who are facing a shortage of money. The SRD grant first came in May 2020 after the COVID-19 pandemic, and continued till March 31, 2025. Apply for SRD Grant, it is meant for people who are not getting any grants or unemployment benefits. The fixed amount is paid monthly on the SRD grant payment dates 2024 to the individuals who meet the requirements.
