Accredited with the Northwest Accreditation Commission, Alpine Academy is a Special Purpose School. Additionally, we are certified by the State of California as a non-public school. In a traditional classroom setting where class size is no more than 12 students, girls in grades 7-12 are taught both core and elective classes by teachers certified in their content area and endorsed in special education. Teachers are specifically trained to be attentive to the unique needs students with emotional disabilities bring to the academic setting. The emphasis of schooling at Alpine Academy is directed toward preparing students for their next academic setting, be it a public or private school, college, or a less restrictive therapeutic setting. Our goal is that our students leave our program empowered with the skills they need to effectively access the curriculum in their next school environment.
