A ball valve is a quarter-turn rotary motion valve mostly used in shutoff applications. They can be used to transfer fluids like water, steam, or oil. These valves can be made from materials such as brass, aluminum, and steel. However, most ball valve suppliers prefer plastic to manufacture them as plastic valves are not prone to rusting like their metal counterparts. Ball valves don�t need any lubrication and offer a long service life.
