Pole fishing, simply put, is a type of fishing style that uses a long fishing pole. This, however, is not to be confused with other types of fishing styles, like fly fishing, which also technically use poles. Within this style of fishing there is some variation. The type of pole you use also varies depending on the type of fish you decide to catch and your ability to handle the pole itself based on your size.
