Float fishing is a type of fishing that uses a special rod and a special float which is designed to lure the fish. This is what is often considered rod and reel fishing because the rod has a reel on it that allows you to move the line, thus moving the lure, or float. This attracts the fish because it thinks that the float is something that it will enjoy eating. You can then snag the hook in its mouth and pull the fish in.
