Beautiful Akagera National Park lies peacefully in eastern Rwanda. They are extended over an area of 1,100 km square. Akagera enjoys a stunning picturesque beauty with a rich diversity of fauna. It is also the largest protected wetland in central Africa. It is famous for exotic low-grassy mountain ranges, swamps and beautiful lakes. The park named after the river Kagera is home to hippos, Nile crocodiles and many aquatic birds.
