Ajinkya Rahane ruled out for 2 months following hamstring injury

Ajinkya Rahane is set to miss two months of cricket after injuring his hamstring in the Indian Premier League last week. With this, Rahane has been ruled out for India?s Test against England, scheduled to take place in July and the Ranji Trophy knockouts in June. Rahane left from the Kolkata Knight Riders camp earlier this week soon after scans revealed a tendon tear in his left hamstring. The injury was caused while batting against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Pune on 14 May. In the 2022 IPL season, Rahane just scored 133 runs in seven innings, at an average of 19 and strike rate of 103.90.
