Aggregate net profit of twelve digital banks in Asia Pacific up 49% in FY2019

China�s WeBank posted the highest net profit in FY2019, while digital banks launched earlier performed better in net profit per user. A comparison of the profitability of digital banks has been conducted, and the payback period is assessed. The aggregate net profit of the twelve digital banks in the Asia Pacific assessed increased by 49% to $1.6 billion in the financial year (FY) 2019 from $1.1 billion in the year before.
