It is mandatory in India to have an Aadhaar Card to prove your identity and residential status. Many Banks, Insurance Companies, and other institutions ask for Aadhaar Card as an identity and address proof but you will have to first apply for an Aadhaar Card. There is no way to get an Aadhaar Card online because you will have to visit the nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra and fill out the Aadhaar Form to get the Aadhaar Card. Biometric verification is also the major part before UIDAI issues an Aadhaar Card.
